  As a human, you have needs, wants and desires. But often we're taught to push them down and hide them away. Let's uncover what you want and give yourself permission to pursue it.

Dare to take up more physical space through intuitive movement flows, posture work, and body acceptance exercises

 We'll end our retreat with an empowering pole dancing class led by my own instructor, Missy Fusmith. We'll be exploring the space (and cheering each other on!) with our newfound freedom of movement, confident voices, and unapologetic presence. 

As an intuitive coach, I will modify the activities to meet the needs of the group.

This retreat is designed to push you safely outside your comfort zone. I encourage you to adopt a beginner's mind, a childlike curiosity so you can fully benefit from our time together.

Hi! I'm Rachel, owner of Mindful Movement and Living! I'm here to help you: trust your body, move joyfully, advocate for your body, respect and protect your body, explore all your body can do, enjoy your body, feel less controlled by anxieties and fear, play more, and live intuitively.


As a certified personal trainer and mobility specialist with a BA in kinesiology, a mindfulness teacher, soon to be reiki practitioner, and human in this world, I take a deeply holistic approach to coaching that is centered around your unique body and life.

what DO I need to bring to the retreat?

Just a water bottle and your beautiful self!

Lunch and snacks will be provided on both days! 

where do i go?

Day 1 will be located at Aether dance studio in Seattle, WA and Day 2 will be located at Trinity dance studio in Kirkland, WA. You will be sent all the location information in your email once you reserve your spot!

What should I wear?

Clothes that are comfortable to move in! I would suggest layers to accommodate for our varying amounts of movement. We will not be wearing shoes in the dance studios, but we will be going on walks at lunchtime, so wear walking shoes.

is this an overnight retreat?

Nope! To keep costs down for you, I have opted for a day retreat. If you are coming from out of town, however, I would be happy to recommend a place for you to stay!

will i have the option to add 1:1 time with you?

There will not be time for 1:1 sessions during the retreat, but you will have the opportunity to purchase a virtual 1:1 session with me at a discounted price for you to use at any time!

What if I've Never done yoga or Pole?

You do not need to have any experience with any sort of movement! Just an open mind, ready to learn!

are payment plans available?

What if i have to cancel?

I understand that shit happens. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, I am unable to give full refunds. Cancellations made before May 11 can be refunded 75% and cancellations made on or after May 11 cannot be refunded. 

are all genders welcome?

All genders are welcome for this retreat! It is vital that this be a respectful and inclusive environment, so there is a ZERO tolerance policy for: sexual harassment of any kind or disparaging or derogatory remarks towards people based on their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic backgrounds, religion, ability, caste or age.
